Dear Parishioners,
Smoke Times
Black smoke (no new pope) billowed at 9 PM Rome Time (3 PM Eastern Time), two hours later than anticipated. The cardinals did some extra things today. Tomorrow, they may be closer to the schedule in the graphic above.
Note that no smoke will billow at 4:30 AM or 11:30 AM unless there is a new pope (white smoke and bells). There will be smoke at 6 AM and 1 PM (or a little later) whether there is a new pope or not. For more information, read the following article:
Once the white smoke rises and the bells ring, the new pope will appear on the loggia within several minutes to a couple hours. It'll probably be between 20 minutes and an hour later.

--------------------------------------
O God, eternal shepherd,
who govern your flock with unfailing care,
send your Holy Spirit
upon the Cardinals gathered in Conclave
and grant in your boundless fatherly love
a pastor for your One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church
who will please you by his holiness
and show us your watchful care.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever. Amen.
